2004 World Economic Forum—Davos, Switzerland


The objective:
Create an extraordinary gift that will convey Coca-Cola's philosophy, extend its brand and communicate the company's sincerity in giving it.

The result:
We designed an exclusive tartan just for The Coca-Cola Company. Rich in chocolate brown, classic camel and a hint of Coca-Cola's signature red, the wool tartan was woven into a luxurious keepsake scarf and finished with a private label. Because standard apparel boxes were not quite perfect, we customized the box size and colour to perfectly complement the scarf. A red gift card shaped like Coca-Cola's signature bottle announced the tartan's significance. And the custom cigar wrap protected the treasured gift for international delivery.

Janet's perspective:
"I designed a tartan because it symbolizes friendship and represents identity. Now, like other nations around the world, Coca-Cola has its very own tartan. And knowing that Swiss weather is chilly in January, the tartan scarf was functional as well as beautiful."
