The objective:
Provide Jim Pattison with meaningful gifts, created in British Columbia that genuinely reflect his business relationship shared with the recipients.
The strategy:
Knowing quality and a meaningful story were paramount, we collaborate with two Canadian artists - including a First Nation artist to design a bear, which traditionally means strength, learned humility, and teaching. The design was then sand blasted and carved, numbered and signed on each glass plate. The plate was then put back in the kiln to slump, creating a very shallow bowl to either proudly display or use.
Each gift was presented with a certificate of authenticity and enclosure card in English and Japanese.
The result:
A truly meaningful gift that reflects The Jim Pattison Group's sincerity and quality and the recipient's appreciation for British Columbian art and symbolism.
