The objective:
If you were to capture the essence of the PNE in one gift, what would it be? The PNE management team asked us to solve this dilemma. They required a gift to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, and media personnel that made 2001 a success. They wanted one whimsical yet traditional gift, a conversation piece that expressed their heart-felt appreciation. They asked Janet Helm Presents to step up to this challenge. And we did exactly that.
The strategy:
Nothing depicts the spirit of the PNE more than a candied apple. We designed a beautiful hand-blown, bright red glass apple, complete with a Canadian maple wood handle. Each piece was hand-etched with the PNE logo and the year to commemorate the exhibition, and then presented in a gift box with a handwritten message: "Thanks for making this our sweetest year ever."
The result:
The PNE management team was thrilled and applauded us for capturing the fanciful yet traditional essence of the exhibition in an exceptional way.
